Patients' Panel

Nantwich Health Centre has an active group of local residents, who work closely with the primary care team to help tailor our services in accordance with the needs of the local population.

Your views matter to us immensely. Please contact your local representative (via our practice manager) with any ideas/concerns/expectations that you wish to share with us. Even if we cannot meet your every demand, we shall strive to do our best for you.

Our Annual Christmas Appeal: Our nominated charity over the last couple years has been St Luke's Hospice. We run a series of fund-raising activities, including coffee-mornings and and desk-top sales of Christmas cards, etc. Additionally, there are regular raffles, the excellent prizes for which are donated by local businesses keen to support our appeal. Every penny we receive is donated to the nominated charity. Since 2008, we have managed to raise thousands of Pounds every year towards local good causes and will be very grateful for your support once again. If you wish to make a contribution, please contact Mrs Elizabeth Tipping, Practice Manager at Nantwich Health Centre.

Christmas 2012

Mr Edward Timpson, MP for Crewe & Nantwich, attended a previous Nantwich Health Centre Patients’ Panel Christmas Appeal to watch the St Anne’s Primary School choir’s carols in full flow. He also stopped by the St Luke’s Hospice stall in support of the campaign, as pictured here with local volunteers Mr Tony Green & Mrs Irene Moss.

The Nantwich Health Centre Patients' Panel is at the forefront of all deliberations and decisions about the sharing of medical records. Please speak with your representatives if you wish to share your perspective on this critical and sensitive issue.

If you do not wish to consent to automatic sharing of your personal medical records with third parties, please inform the practice accordingly so that we can apply the necessary protection to your primary care health data.

It is now possible for our patients to view their current repeat medications list and any previously recorded allergies online. Please contact a member of our administration team for assistance regarding the same.

Practice Updates

GP surgeries across different parts of the country have been affected by the recent extensive, random computers failure. Unfortunately, South Cheshire practices have suffered significantly and the local IT support team have been doing their best to get us up and running once again. The practice team is here to help with medical emergencies regardless of the above. However, we regret to inform you of our inability to deal with many routine enquiries effectively, due to lack of full-fledged access to all our usual systems. Please bear with us and we will do our best to help you.

Disclaimer: IT systems in General Practice are NOT owned/maintained by us. This ownership and maintenance responsibility thereof rests with NHS England. Consequently, we are NOT directly responsible for the ongoing disruption caused by this systems failure.

We regularly host medical students from Manchester Medical School and Imperial College, London, who come along to gain valuable clinical experience. We hope you will support such teaching by permitting their attendance during your surgery visit.
