Teaching/Training: It is a matter of pride for us to host medical students from Manchester Medical School and Imperial College, London, who come along to acquire valuable clinical experience.

Clinical Audit/Research: We have been accredited by the Royal College of GPs as a “research ready” practice, enabling us to participate in clinical research for patients’ benefit, maintaining our academic credentials. Regular audits are undertaken of our prescribing and other clinical work, in order to keep us at the forefront of good medical practice. Our research participation efforts were further recognised through the award of a plaque to Nantwich Health Centre by Dr Mark Porcheret, representing the Keele University Primary Care & Health Sciences Unit, on 5th August 2011.

Venue: Our surgery is housed on the 1st floor within Church View Primary Care Centre (a purpose-built 2008 construction) located in the heart of Nantwich, adjacent to the main town-centre car-park and at a stone’s throw from the local bus-station. The ground floor of the building hosts the shared primary care Community Services including District Nursing, Health Visiting, Phlebotomy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Specialist Nurses (Diabetes, Respiratory, etc), Dentistry as well as a bespoke Minor Operations Theatre.

Lifts and wheel-chair access are available at all times for service-users.
